  • Access to machine power feed

Physical Connection

  1. 1

    Identify the power feed

Locate the main power cable feeding the machine. You'll clamp around ONE conductor (not the whole cable).

If the machine has a disconnect or breaker panel, clamp on the load side.

  2. 2

    Attach CT clamp

Open the CT101 split-core clamp and snap it around one phase conductor. No wire cutting needed.

  3. 3

    Mount the CT101 transmitter

Mount the CT101 transmitter nearby (within cable reach of the clamp). Use the included zip ties or adhesive mount.

  4. 4

    Power on

The CT101 is battery-powered (5+ year life). Remove the battery tab to activate.

Verification

  1. 1

    Check LoRaWAN join

Within 5 minutes, the CT101 should appear in the LoRaWAN network server (The Things Stack).
