How Flowstate Connects

MTConnect provides a standardized XML-based protocol for manufacturing equipment. Haas, Mazak, and Okuma machines include MTConnect adapters that expose machine data via HTTP. Flowstate's edge nodes run an MTConnect agent that polls the machine's /current and /sample endpoints, transforms the XML into Sparkplug B metrics, and publishes to the Unified Namespace.
