Customer provides:

  • iCON parameter access
  • Network access

Physical Connection

  1. 1

    Locate EtherNet/IP module

The H2F has a Komatsu iCON controller with an EtherNet/IP communications module. Locate the RJ45 port on the iCON panel.

  2. 2

    Connect Ethernet

Cat6 from the iCON EtherNet/IP port to the Flowstate edge node.

  3. 3

    Set IP address

On the iCON touchscreen: System > Communications > EtherNet/IP > IP Address. Static IP in 10.0.100.x range.

Machine Configuration

  1. 1

    Enable process monitoring

iCON controller: Setup > Data Output > enable tonnage, stroke position, and cycle data output via EtherNet/IP.

  2. 2

    Configure force curve capture

Enable servo press force-vs-position curve logging. The iCON captures the full curve per stroke for quality verification.

Verification

  1. 1

    EtherNet/IP scan

From the Flowstate edge node, run an EtherNet/IP identity scan. The press should appear as 'Komatsu H2F'.

  2. 2

    Run test stroke

Execute a single stroke. Verify tonnage, position, and cycle time data appear in the Flowstate dashboard.
