Customer provides:

  • Eiger Fleet subscription
  • Network access

Physical Connection

  1. 1

    Connect to network

Connect the X7 to the plant network via Ethernet (rear port) or WiFi. Ethernet is recommended for reliability.

  2. 2

    Set static IP

On the touchscreen: Settings > Network > Ethernet > configure static IP in 10.0.100.x range.

  3. 3

    Connect edge node

Ensure the Flowstate CL260 edge node is on the same subnet.

Machine Configuration

  1. 1

    Enable Eiger Fleet API

Log into Eiger (cloud.markforged.com). Under Fleet > Printers, enable API access for the X7. Generate an API token.

Eiger Fleet requires a Markforged subscription. The Flowstate edge node polls the Eiger API and bridges to Sparkplug B.

  2. 2

    Configure local monitoring

The X7 also exposes local status at http://<ip>/api/status for network-independent monitoring.

Verification

  1. 1

    Test Eiger API

From the edge node, query the local status endpoint. Verify printer state, layer progress, and material levels.

  2. 2

    Dashboard check

Printer appears in Flowstate with layer progress, fiber reinforcement data, and temperatures.
