What You Need
Customer provides:
- GrabCAD Print license
- Network access
Physical Connection
- 1
Connect to network
Connect the F370 to the plant network via the rear Ethernet port. The printer uses DHCP by default.
- 2
Set static IP
On the touchscreen: Settings > Network > Ethernet > Static IP. Set to 10.0.100.x range.
- 3
Connect edge node
Ensure the Flowstate edge node is on the same subnet as the printer.
Machine Configuration
- 1
Enable GrabCAD Print API
Install GrabCAD Print on a workstation. The API exposes printer status, job progress, and material levels via REST endpoints.
The Flowstate edge node polls the GrabCAD Print API and bridges data to MQTT/Sparkplug B.
- 2
Configure SNMP (optional)
The F370 supports SNMP for basic status. Enable SNMP v2c in printer settings for supplementary monitoring.
Verification
- 1
Query GrabCAD API
From the edge node, query http://<printer-ip>/api/v1/status. Verify printer state and material levels.
- 2
Dashboard check
Printer appears in Flowstate with build progress, temperatures, and material usage.
